X2 Performance Option

Available for PTR-TOF 1000 ultra and PTR-TOF 4000.

The X2 option is a combination of the ION-BOOSTER funnel and the hexapole ION-GUIDE, typically increasing the instruments' sensitivity.

 

PTR-TOF 1000 X2

The PTR-TOF 1000 ultra which already has the ION-BOOSTER funnel in standard configuration, will receive a hexapole ION-GUIDE. The X2 option allows to reach the sensitivities and LODs mentioned in the X2-paragraph of the PTR-TOF 1000 ultra system performance specifications.

Please note, that the installation of the X2 option increases the sensitivities, but also limits the linearity range of the instrument.

30,000 cps/ppbv with new X2 Option for PTR-TOF 1000 ultra

The X2 option pushes the instrument’s sensitivity beyond known limits. The PTR-TOF 1000 X2 sets the new industry-benchmark in PTR-MS sensitivity and comes with 10,000-30,000 cps/ppbv, delivering low detection limits in incredible short integration times. Of course we make sure existing customers can upgrade as well.

PTR-TOF 4000 X2

6,000 cps/ppbv with the most versatile high-resolution PTR-TOF

The PTR-TOF 4000 which already has the ION-GUIDE hexapole in standard configuration, will receive an ION-BOOSTER funnel. The X2 option allows to reach the sensitivities and LODs mentioned in the X2-paragraph of the PTR-TOF 4000 system performance specifications.

Please note, that the installation of the X2 option increases the sensitivities, but also limits the linearity range of the instrument.
