Presentation on Advances in CCS Amines Monitoring with PTR-TOFMS

In Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), CO2 is chemically absorbed by amine solutions. PTR-TOF analyzers can monitor the emissions of amines and degradation products in real-time.

A summary on the activities and latest results on amine and amine degradation product monitoring using PTR-TOF will be presented at the GHGT-17 Conference by IONICON's partner company, Advanced Monitoring Solutions (adMS). Prof. Armin Wisthaler’s presentation, titled "An Update on Emission Monitoring of Amines and Amine Degradation Products by PTR-ToF-MS" highlights the continuous improvement in PTR-TOF technology for emission monitoring. These advancements include improved detection limits for trace amines and nitrosamines, as well as the integration of real-time emission data into plant management systems.
