Standard quadrupole interfaces often suffer from high mass discrimination and unwanted ion-chemistry distortions. The ioniAPi-TOF overcomes this by integrating proprietary IONICON hexapole ION-GUIDE technology.
By maintaining a lower energy environment within the multipole, our system drastically decreases ion-chemistry artifacts and allows for the seamless transfer of weakly bound cluster ions.
