Innsbruck, September 29, 2026 – High-tech enterprise IONICON Analytik has been granted one of the highest economic honors in Austria: the official right to bear the Austrian National Coat of Arms ("Staatswappen"), presented by Federal Minister Dr. Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer.
Under Section 68 of the Austrian Trade Code (GewO), this prestigious recognition is bestowed exclusively upon companies that have rendered extraordinary services to the Austrian economy and hold a leading, widely respected national position in their sector.
This distinction highlights IONICON’s sustained dedication to innovation, continuous growth, and global leadership in trace gas analysis technology. "This award is a milestone in our company history and a wonderful recognition of our entire team's hard work. Our special thanks go to all our employees as well as our partners and customers who have supported us along the way and made this success possible in the first place," says a delighted IONICON CEO Lukas Märk, adding: "following the Export Award in Gold from the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in 2022 and 3rd place at the Austria’s Leading Companies Award last year, this State Award confirms our sustainably successful course as a leading Austrian enterprise."
