The last year ended with the publication of two relevant articles where the ioni APi-TOF platform has been used for:
- two ioni APi-TOF 1000 in parallel, one for the detection of positive and one for negative ion detection, for the characterization of ultrafine condensation particle counters. Here, the IONICON hexapole advantage enabled simultaneous measurement of small and large ions over a mass range up to m/z 5000
- one high-resolution ioni APi-TOF 6000 as detector in biological research helped revealing a new zinc metabolism pathway in the terrestrial slug Arion Vulgaris
