At analytica 2026, IONICON will highlight its growing presence in the industrial sector with a suite of automated solutions. IONICON’s real-time trace gas analyzers for the semiconductor industry play a key role in AMC contamination management in cleanrooms, FOUPs, and in the field of Advanced Packaging, a key technology for manufacturing AI-chips. Furthermore, in Fenceline Monitoring and Property Line Monitoring applications, PTR-TOF enables continuous emission tracking, allowing industries to monitor and respond to pollution levels as they occur.
Joining the lineup is also the new VOCentinel, a compact and robust PTR-TOF mass spectrometer designed for continuous real-time quantification with minimal user interaction. Designed for long-term air quality monitoring and industrial applications, the VOCentinel offers a simple interface for tracking various chemical classes – including aromatics, amines, and siloxanes – while requiring minimal space for easy integration into mobile platforms or 19-inch racks.

Advancing analytical precision: Highest mass resolution with the FUSION PTR-TOF 20 

IONICON is pleased to announce its latest breakthroughs in high-performance trace gas analysis. Leading the charge in mass resolution is the FUSION PTR-TOF 20, an ultimate-performance analyzer featuring the next-generation ioniTOF and an ultra-clean FUSION reaction chamber. It offers a market-leading detection limit below 1 pptv and a mass resolution of up to 25,000 m/Δm, providing unmatched precision for complex mixtures.

Expanding analytical versatility: Isomer separation with PTR-SLIM-TOF

While maintaining its core leadership in PTR-TOF technology, IONICON has integrated Structures for Lossless Ion Manipulation (SLIM) technology through a sublicense agreement with MOBILion Systems, Inc. to complement raw analytical power with physical separation capabilities. The resulting PTR-SLIM-TOF is set to revolutionize the analysis of complex mixtures by adding high-resolution ion mobility to IONICON’s trace-level VOC platforms. This allows researchers to physically separate isomers in milliseconds.
