Why is an IONICON PTR-MS very well suited for your measurement tasks?

We have a longstanding history with IONICON instruments to measure eddy covariance fluxes of NMVOCs in the atmosphere. NMVOCs participate in atmospheric chemistry and emission inventories are often quite uncertain. Eddy flux measurements can help to elucidate and constrain emission inventories of biogenic and anthropogenic sources. The eddy covariance method requires fast measurements (e.g. on the order of 10Hz). Chemical ionization mass spectrometry is therefore often the method of choice. We have used IONICON instruments on board of aircraft or ground based measurement sites to perform these types of measurements.
