“We are using the PTR-TOF 1000 to measure odorous compounds that are produced during intensive animal production. This is supporting our research program, which is focused on understanding and reducing the livestock smells. The PTR-TOF 1000 allows us to rapidly measure a selection of compounds over a broad concentration range, which we encounter depending on whether we sample directly from odorous area sources, production buildings or the surrounding environment."
