"The IONICON PTR-QiTOF is very well suited for ANAEE-S. It will be used to measure VOC fluxes as a tracer of the ecosystem functioning and its level of biodiversity. It will also be used for measuring VOC fluxes from the whole ecosystems by eddy-covariance, as well as separating the contributions from soil and canopy with chambers. The analyser will serve to determine the links between VOC emissions from soils and the soil microbial activity."
"We use our PTR-MS system, consisting of two compact PTR-MS and a calibration unit, to measure breakthrough curves of adsorption filters for various gases, including highly toxic substances. The tailored Ionicon dilution stages gives us the unique opportunity to measure in a very wide range from 5 ppb to 1000 ppm."
