This makes it great for doing process studies in which we follow the conversion pathways of environmentally important compounds. Because of its high sensitivity there is no need for preconcentration of samples anymore, which simplifies our analysis greatly. Also setting-up the machine is relatively easy, (essentially plug-and-play) which is very convenient in remote places."
