"The IONICON PTR-QiTOF is very well suited for ANAEE-S. It will be used to measure VOC fluxes as a tracer of the ecosystem functioning and its level of biodiversity. It will also be used for measuring VOC fluxes from the whole ecosystems by eddy-covariance, as well as separating the contributions from soil and canopy with chambers. The analyser will serve to determine the links between VOC emissions from soils and the soil microbial activity."
